Our family has been coming to Mt Shasta since 1978, my boys included.
When Rich and Avona
Anderson decided to sell the building that Mt Shasta Herb & Health had been in, it was a stretch for us. I had the support of my sons, and the previous owners, which I greatly appreciated. It was a challenge to achieve this. Mom had run the store before, but we were starting from nothing.

I had been part of the meditation group who used to meditate downstairs, which is now Sereni Tea. There were high Lamas who taught, and other various teachers, so when this became available to us I knew it would be a task to get completed construction and financing etc. We had all types of angels help us, including my sons. Josh has a great job as an engineer. He co-signed for our loan (2 older gals out of work was a risk, to say the least). Then when we needed plans made, Josh was there to do it though he was very busy himself.
When Zac started dating Jaime, we took her on a wilderness adventure to the Marble Mountains, introducing her to our life. Jaime is an amazing woman... powerful, smart and one of the kindest gals I know.
So this last year 2006 with Jaime and Zac's wedding it was definitely a celebration for all us. They had completed Dental School, bought a practice and working hard.

This is Josh's new addition for 2006....he made a record time at Laguna Seca in October.
In July 2006 for my birthday I did a gratitude meeting for all the great things in our life, it was an awesome ceremony. We have many things to be Grateful for. We sang before the meeting at the store with friends who traveled far. Doing The Native American Church meeting for gratitude for all the wonders things that have come our way was our way of thanking the divine and all the people who made it possible to have Mt Shasta Herb and Health. Also to say "Gratitude" for our good health, especially mom who is working usually 6 days a week.
Thank You, Blessings,
Lillian and Linda
