My story: In April of 1997, I moved to Mt. Shasta. I was passed the age that most people retire at, but I wanted to work and I wanted to do something that would support my good health. I am a people person so I wanted to support others as well. We are never too old to be the best that we can be. I had already taken the first step by moving to the mountain, the home of the ancients. I used to walk by Mt. Shasta Herb & Health and I was so drawn to that store but, I just knew I could never work there, I did not know enough about herbs. Then one day a miracle happened, I suddenly found myself working at Mt. Shasta Herb & Health. I began going through the reference books with the customers. It wasn't long before I found mysself intuitively connected with the customer's needs. Together we found remedies that made them feel better. When they returned to share that informaation with me, it just touched my heart so deeply. I became so rewarded by just listening to customers and tuning into their needs by sharing my own experiences with herbs, and positive feed back. When the owners decided to take the store to Tucson, Arizona, my first concern was "What about my customers who have trusted me and have become my family"? The remedies they were used to using are not carried by other stores in our area. To make a long story short, my daughter, Linda Held, bought the building and we have reopened Mt. Shasta Herb & Health and I am back managing the store. I am not an herbalist, a nurse, or a doctor of any sort. I'm just me, and I love helping people help themselves. When many of them go to the reference books, they don't know where to start. When I go with them, we both learn. We carry all natural products, over 250 fresh bulk herbs, tinctures made just for us by a company I totally believe in and trust, a full line of bach flower essences, Anaflora flower essences for animals and unique gifts. Come see us, e-mail, or call with your questions.
May you be blessed with excellent health in body, mind, and spirit,
Lillian Asbra, Manager of Mt. Shasta Herb & Health

Let Linda show you how Mt Shasta is not just about a 14,000+ foot mountain, but a spirit that resonates throughout the surrownding area. After leaving Mt. Shasta you will take more than you can imagine; sometimes one can only understand the power that is given, when back in everyday life.
